And I'm just not talking about the Dodgers. Coming into today, the teams with the 4 worst ERA in the NL were the Dodgers (5.55), the Brewers (5.65), the Nationals (6.29), and the Pirates (6.39). After tonight's games all these teams are .500 except the Nationals who are actually 8-7. At least the Dodgers, Brewers, and Nationals are in the top half of the NL in runs scored, but somehow the Pirates are .500 with the worst ERA and the third worst offense. Strange things going on in Pittsburgh....

I expect the Dodgers pitching to improve starting immediately with the addition of Belisario today and hopefully Kuo by the end of the weekend. Unfortunately, we are going to be stuck with Ramon Ortiz for a couple of more days. Still, I expect a 7 game winning streak starting with today's 14-6 win being the start of it. Only 6 more to go.

Also, Matt Kemp is a god among men.
