-I'm glad the Yankees beat the Phillies, but I'm not glad that they won the World Series. I just chose the lesser of two evils. It must be nice to be root for a team with a $200 million payroll...
-You see, Bill Plaschke? Trading for an ace does not guarantee you a World Series (even though Cliff Lee was brilliant). You still need other players to step up. Remember that when you write another one of your stupid ace articles in July 2010.
-A Colts vs. Saints Super Bowl would be awesome.
-One month into the season and the LA Kings have 10 more points than the Ducks (sorry KempKershaw)
-The Lakers are struggling without Gasol. The Artest-Ariza comparisons are getting old. Can the season be more than 5 games old before people call Artest a downgrade from Ariza?
-I'm not surprised that Lincecum was busted for marijuana possession. I mean look at the guy! He has hippie written all over him. I'm more shocked that the Weaver brothers have made it this long without being arrested.
-Only 5 more days til Modern Warfare 2 comes out and I go into hibernation for the winter.

It's still early in the season. The Kings have been fantastic though. And they have so much talent still in the wings (Bernier, Hickey, Schenn) it's scary.
I would feel more confident in the Ducks if Carlyle were fired and a puck-possession coach were hired to replace him. And if Newell Brown's dumbass were fired too.
At least we have the best player among the two rosters. I will gladly gloat about that.

(searching for comeback)....
Kopitar for Koivu.
And J.S.
Cough cough.
Not after the game Kopitar had last night!
Damn, I thought you would do that for sure!
If only Ned Colletti were G.M. of the Kings and I was G.M. of the Ducks.
