For the second start in a row, Randy Wolf dominated on the mound and at the plate. 7 innings of 1 hit baseball, and he drove in the Dodgers only 2 runs with a double to lead the Dodgers to a 2-1 win. I want to see Wolf taking fielding practice at first base today and inserted in the lineup temporarily for the slumping Loney. Make it happen, Joe!

Our favorite knuckleballer gets the start today at 1pm against the Cubs, and I'm betting we see another quality start out of him today. He was excellent against the Cardinals (except for two pitches) and I think he will keep it up against the slumping Cubs. It's important for the Dodgers to get these next 2 wins today and tomorrow, so that they can pick up games on either the Giants or Rockies who are battling it out at Coors.

And, Ferio, looks like Broxton made it thru the week without going on the DL, despite Joe Torre using him in 4 out of 5 games this week. You owe me lunch!
